The Monarch Hydrogen Project is owned by Verdant Technologies. Verdant Technologies is a renewable energy asset and technology developer – creating green solutions for today, tomorrow and the future. Verdant owns the $550M+ 151MW Redbank Power Station in the Hunter Valley, NSW, which is being repurposed to operate solely on waste biomass with Net Zero CO2 emissions.

Redbank will be generating 1,000,000MW of green baseload power within 6-8 months of commencing restart program. Monarch Hydrogen, a project to build Australia’s first scalable hydrogen production plant with the ability to initially deliver 6.5t/day of compressed hydrogen by 2022.
